Hey Has Anyone come across this problem before.

I've got a V9 with the Infinity chip installed.

Lately I've been having problems booting up backups. When I try to load up a backup, the system just kind of hangs there and then I get a screen telling me its unable to read the disc.

However if I load up a regular disc (ie. Codebreaker) first and then load the backup...it works fine...no problems.

    Any ideas?

hmmm, try to reflash with latest firmware. It could also be that the "Y" line is not received correct or a dirty signal on boot sequence

Tried a reflash...still getting the same problem. I'm not sure how to go about correcting the "Y" line?

"Y" line can get a dirty signal and even the MI team recommends 24 AWG for it. WOrks great for me :~)

well i think as long as the y line is run flat on the board and routed away from major IC's its ok.. some noobs run the y wire like a string all over the board.. maybe thats why matrix team recommends it.
