VGA Compatibility List on Matrix Infinity v1.75+
VGA Compatibility List on Matrix Infinity v1.75+ –
So far I've tried the following which work without problems although some don't seem play in full-screen ie have a thick black border around the screen:
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness
Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi
Dragon Quest VIII
Gran Turismo 4
King of Fighters: Maximum Impact
Ridge Racer V
Soul Calibur II
Soul Calibur III
Tekken Tag Tournament
Virtua Fighter 4
Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution
So far, the following exhibit graphical problems:
Chikyuu Boueigun 2
Robot Alchemic Drive
SNK vs. Capcom (PAL)
Tetsujin 28 GO
The following crash in-game:
Graffiti Kingdom (PAL)
The following fail to boot up:
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
All games tested are NTSC unless specified. I used the Blaze VGA Adaptor and the Matrix Infinity VGA mode on a 24" Sony GDM-FW900 CRT monitor.

Anyone want to add to the list?
Well I don't have a matrix infinity but I'll just say that going by your list, it works with some games that don't work with the o2mod because of a FMV bug:
Dragon Quest VIII
Castlevania Curse of Darkness
However I don't know if its worth swapping chips yet, as the blaze elf works with nearly all the games that don't work with the o2mod and my monitor is very forgiving so I can get 90% of games to fit the whole screen without borders.
The origa guys have plans to implement a VGA@50hz mode too, which will fix all of those PAL games that run too fast.If the matrix team fixes this bug first, I may have a look at it
PS1 games at VGA is a very low priority IMO though for me personally, as they are better played at high-res with a PC emulator.Low-res games upscanned to VGA without filtering look awful which unfortunately is also the case with many PS2 games too, and reminds me to keep looking for a cheap, 15khz capable VGA monitor.
My list :P ( All titles NTSC, tested with the Blaze VGA Adaptor and the Matrix Infinity, running VGA mode on a 15" Samsung 15GLe monitor. )
Games that work:
Games with graphical problems:
Resident Evil 4 ( colors seems to fade out, game very dark even with +50 brightness and in-game cg's skip alot )
Soul Cailibur 3 ( game resolution doesn't fit on the screen )
Games that don't work:
Xenosaga Episode 1 (doesn't boot)
