its always the smallest things.. wires get bumped and inevidebly come loose...
make sure to check all your connections guys.. there in lies the problem 96% of the time ; )
I have the same problem as you swordfish...mine is a bluedot infinity
Install the H wire
I have found the exact same problem with the infiinity clones and originals in some V12's especially the GH32 motherboards

had the same problem with a clone ,the chip work in one v12 and did'nt in another I put a different chip in with the same wires and it work ,still hav'nt tried it (bad ) in a nother machine
i had several of these.
the thing is that the actel chip cant produce enough juice to patch the B G I wires.
there is a fix for this that works in 90% cases:
bridge (connect both ends with wire) the diode (red glass cylinder) on the infinity pcb.
that way you raize the voltage by 0.7V and even a defective actel IC can produce enough current B)
