    hi
    i just instal the MI in a v9 PS2
    and al im getting is the logo of matrix
    it doesnt boot any further

    does any one know what im doing wrong?

    Try plugging in the controller in port one then boot disk

    do this:

    1- Check power going to the MI chip. Wires thicker than the normal wires are a good idea as the chip will get more power for the patching.

    2- Check bios wires. M,N,... V wires. R and W are special and are used by the mod to know when the PS2 is reading the bios or to receive updates during the flashing. Actually the data flow through M,N ... V wires but if W and R are not ok the mod will not know when to patch. Other important thing is the clock wire (Y) check it too. MI is not very sensitive to a bad wiring, but if the wiring is not good, you will have trouble soon or later ...
