v3 MI help

i have a v3 and im tryin to install an MI
when the ps is booted its a blank screen no picture or sound
and the dvd wont eject but the light is on.
it used to say matrix across the screen but now is just blank.
any suggestions?

check for bridges on bios points with multimeter.

could that be the reason thy the dvd doesnt spin
the led is blue but no spin or anything??
