V13 and Infinity Install
V13 and Infinity Install –
I have a V13 (GH-032-13) and am wanting to install the infinity chip. The only area I have a problem with is where you connect the A, B, G, H, I and SX leads. Is there any other connection points for these besides the ones in the pic. My eyes are not what they used to be and my 8yr old would love to have this finished.

nope.. be sure to scrap the points with a razor blade except sx... sx is very small and can be damaged easily.. it is only used for ps1 games.. so you could leave that wire off.
LOL, I see what you mean by the SX can be damaged easy. It looks like I broke this. What is this little part and how do I get a new one to replace it with?
Or will the unit still function without it?
you can only replace it with another one from another board.. it might still work without it.
I too am going to install on my GH-032-53 V13 and I have a Comsoft V4 as well.
My question would be can I put both on and still have all the functions that the Matrix Infinity has to offer ?
The attached pic is for the V13 install of the V4.
I guess I looking for an answer as to how many have tried this combo on a V13.............f
rom what I see the V12 is no prob and is required (at least one way of protection) but what my consern is from is the protection cct already on the board of the V13, would the Comsoft fix and the V13 design get along with each other ? Throw a mod chip into the mix and ..... ?
I am figuring it would work out fine but wanted to know if anyone here has tried it out yet, my mod chip did not come yet but when it does I will post my results..

Reason: added info
You dont need the fix in that board revision ( v13), just fit the chip.
Yea I know what you mean Flying Scot but I got one here anyway plus who knows about the long term use...after these boards have been out and chiped for 6 - 12 m then we will know for sure that any extra was not needed.
See the pic does offer a more dynamic edge than SomOne's fix and the makers fix.....adds another layer if you like.
I will chip it first...try it out..then add the V4 and try again what harm could it cause...
