Strange issues after install
Strange issues after install –

The story goes like this: I got a Matrix Infinity Green Dot CLONE (Modbo 750), I installed it on my V7 and...nothing.
Upon re-assembly, I kinda forgot the proper order, and ended up reassembling the console like 5 times.
Didn't have the best luck with the DVD drive as the laser assembly ribbon came off at the assembly. I didn't know which way it was to go on, yet out of deductive reasoning figured the way...I guess? Here are my problems...console boots to PS2 screen and I get no Matrix logo AND the DVD drive no longer plays movies or original PS2 games.
I've gone through the whole setup and checked contact points with a multi-meter on continuity mode. All checks good. This is the first time I've encountered this and I'm at a loss.
By the way, according to the solder points on the picture/link given me: http://www.mod-chip.bz/PS2/images/matrix/USA-V7.jpg
there is only a CX and a SX on the Modbo chip. Which you can see in the picture, there is a CX and a SCEX. I assumed the CX=CX and the SCEX=SX. Is this correct?
Input...Please tell me what I've done. Or possibly could've done!!
Oh and also, when it boots up to the PS2 screen, it does not have the swirling electron things. It just has a bright silver star/sun thing.
Anxiously awaiting,
