    hey my ps2 doesnt boot up burned games anymore....
    i started it up one time and some weird menu popped up that had a bunch of options and said MATRIX at the top and a few on/off selections underneath..ever since then i cant play burned games...before my load screen said --> Playstation 2 Infinity v1.38 and now its just Playstaion 2.. i have the SCPH-50010 model of the ps2
    i got into the mod menu..it says:
    PS2 SCREEN FIX : COLOR
    PSX SCREEN FIX : ON
    MC16 PATCH : ON
    ATAD AUTO PATCH : ON
    MACROVISION FIX : ON
    GREEN FIX : ON
    BOOT MODE : AUTO
    PAD DETECTION TIME: 10
    DEFAULT LANGUAGE : ENGLISH

    you must have changed and saved the settings and killed your clone/fake matrix infinity

    Yes he is. That's what happen to clone chips when you mess around with the config menu.

    but i didnt change anything? i just pressed start and then resetted it

    it still tried to write the settings to ur chip .. which killed the clone .. sorry u better get a real infinity ...

    or if you were happy enough with the way it was working get a modbo v2.1 which probly has the same solder points so no need to remove the wires aand it wont let you change settings
