I have a slim pstwo i was having trouble playing pal games on my ntsc system so i decided to upgrade to firmware 1.54 burnt disk loaded into my pdtwo it said press start to upgrade, it said please wait programing, then programing complete. i took disk out put in king kong and reset the system and now when i power it on it goes to a screen saying matrix infinity and just hangs there. i have lest it on for over an hour and nothing is happening and if i press reset it says please insert ps2 formated disk. but if i shut down and power on goes back to "Matrix Infinity" screen. can some one please help me with this...?

I think you have a clone, did it say matrix infinity 1.38 previous?
If u try upgrade a clone, the chip dies.

Yeah sounds like you upgraded a clone and now its dead. I'm assuming you had this installed by some one othere then yourself othwerwise you would have known it was a clone .....right

Then I would suggest you take it back to them and ask "what the hell"

Yea that happened to me before i payed a guy who owns a shop 200 bucks canadian to get a messiah2 and he installed a hk messiah 2 found out it was a fake 5 months later when i tried to turn off the modchip to play online...
