Try updating your firmware.

Made no difference .. but .. the update disc booted instantly after logo. Like how i would expect a game to boot. So maybe it is the game looking for the memcard?
I should mention that during the long black pause between ps2 logo and game the screen flickers once

Turned all options off other then fast boot (so all its doing is just booting the game) and it takes 19 seconds to boot ... still seems faily slow
When i say 30 or 19 seconds i really mean it .. 1-1000 2-1000 3-1000 ... its pretty slow lol ... *sigh*
to me it seems like its trying to do something before it boots the games
Everything boots fine up untill this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ce/boot001.jpg then it goes black, the screen flickers (like its changing or detecting something) and it takes its sweet ass time. lol
