    Hi guys,
Need some advice, tried installing a Inifinity homebrew on my slim V12 7003 model. I have tried 3 times and each time I get the same results. I have checked and double checked the soldering points and all seems good. Also to make sure I haven shorted with the shield I stuck insulation tape of all the solder points I did. The PS2 boots up but I get a black screen, I can reset the PS2 via the reset button for the first 10 secs then I have to disconnect the power if I want to reset.

1 Thing I did manage to balls up was the R connection, the track has lifted and I soldered just behind. Will this make a difference?

Is there an alternative point for the SX point?

If all else fails then looks like I will have to flog this and try and get an other PS2.

    Help needed desperatly.

You might want to check the track to see if its still making contact but yes when those tracks are lifted that could very well control the video part of the PS2

you may want to take the chip out and clean up all your soldering and see if you can get the ps2 back to normal , if it is then try the install over again .
