I have a PS2 slim US/NTSC modded with Matrix 1.82 and just got the PS2 S-video cable.. the problem is the image shows black and white.. the TV is NTSC native. The PS2 SCREEN FIX is set to COLOR.

    Any suggestions? Is the cable?

I have the same problem in PAL, problem is that the S-Video socket in the TV is no good :-( At least for me that's the fact.

However a different TV shows the same signals in color... also through same S-Video cable.

IMO, the ps2 screen fix only affects setups with an RGB cable.
