    OK here is the situation.

I have a Silver Slimline v13 PS2 which I bought pre chipped with a Matrix Infinity Green Dot. This PS2 works fine there is nothing at all wrong with it or the chip.

I also have a v10 Fat PS2 which I bought so I could use a HD with the independence exploit and HDL Loader from the mem card. This one also works fine with no issues.

Now my question is can I remove the MI from the v13 and install it on the v10 and will the v13 just work like a normal un chipped console after I remove the chip?

Now if this is feasible is it possible to then transfer HD Loader from my mem card to the HD and using DEV2 mode get it to boot direct from the HD without losing the games already installed on the drive?

If you remove the chip it will work like a normal unchipped console. You can install HDL on the hard drive but you will need INFINITY DEV2 Install Software V1.1 from the matrix website. Your games will not be deleted.
