Red Screen after logo

Hi,
sometimes when i turn on my ps2(v7) it shows a red screen instead of the browser....like, after my MATR!X.(v 1.75) logo appears it shows a red screen instead of the ps2 browser...this happens only sometimes, not always...anyone have and idea of wat could it be??:crazy:

Can we get a picture of your installation? Make sure it's neat. Clean the laser as well.

ummm I didnt isntall the modchip.. but do u think is the chip isntallation? bcus it was working fine and it was installed last month by a pro in this site.
