Okay I have installed a MI in a V7 the chip was sitting here in the bag for about a year. so after installing the chip the first thing I did was upgrade the firmware to 1.82. I have no Idea what firmware was on it first. But I would guess is was 1.36 or 1.38 because it was the chip with the blue dot on it. Anyway I get all the matrix screens and orgianls boot fine but backups won't boot. is it possiable I have a wire off or somthing. I would think not sense I seam to have full funtions of the chip except booting backups. also I only found diagrams to install 17 wires on this PS2 version. should G and H be hooked up as well. this is a NTSC ps2. any help here would be great.

thank you I think it was the A point. THe connection seamed just a little loose. the others were very tight so I didn't see a point messing with them. I hate connecting wires to electroic parts. I wish there was a alt point more on the board. Oh well it works now thank you.
