Hi everyone. Im posting this more as a success story than as a question. I've been using this site as a resource for about a week before my chip arrived so I wanted to contribute. I have a US V5 and got the Infinity greendot modchip installed last night. After we got it all installed we had the problem where wed turn it on and it would immediately shut down. My first thought was I was bridging somewhere, so we checked every connection and it was perfect. Read through the forum and checked all my fuses and they were good as well. Out of desperation we moved the 3.3v to a closer location and cut the length of the wire to about 1/3 the original. Then we put some electrical tape on the metal casing above where the chip sits and put her back together and now she plays all my originals and backups no problem Hope this helps someone in the future.
