    Hi,

I was installing Matrix Infinity chip.
After I installed the chip, the ps2 booted automatically when I pluged the power cable and after 3 seconds it rebooted and after that the LEDS stayed RED.

After desoldering the chip. The same problem was still there.
I looked at the MOBO and saw that a resistor was broken.

    See pics

    Question 1:
I measured it with a multimeter at the Ohm stand 200M its says 1.0 (1.1)
    Is this ok?

    Question 2:
How can i fix it with soldering?

    Question 3:
PS2 didnt boot with the Matrix Infinity Chip when the RST (Reset) connection cable was connected. But not connect it stated the Boot scene (Matrix).
Is the ps2 bios the problem?

    Please help!

You have broken a capacitor. Now the problem is to know which value the capacitor is.
Try to get other board and measure with a capacitance meter, but first you need to unsolder the part.
I do not know if someone has that info.
    Regards

I just put a lot of thin between the cable and capacitator, and it works now. I'm gonna sell this one and buy a new one.
