PS2 Slim V13 Problem with MATRIX INFINITY

HI I hope someone can me with my problem. I`ve installed a MATRIX INFINITY mod chip into my PS2 Slim V13 SCHP 70004. Followed the instructions and reassembled. ON boot up I get the Matrix logo and then goes to the browser window alls OK so far. EBut when I insert an orginal or backup DVD or CDR the screen goes black and nothing happens. There is no activity from the DVD drive. All worked fine before.
Any ideas that might help ?

if you have a new Green dot infinity you have to upgrade the firmware to 1.75
the exisiting 1.68 already on the chip is known to have problems on some 70004 models

how to upgrade:
just download the latest infinityfirmware from the infinity site
www.infinitymod.com
burn it to a disk
put it in the pstwo and start it up by holding 1,5 second the reset button
now the pstwo will boot the update in recovery mode and you can flash you firmware,

now it should work
