PS1 backups not working on matrix infinity 1.93 –

Hey there. This is my first post here, and its about the matrix infinity modded ps2 slim that I bought recently. I have burned ps2 games using img burn according to the instructions in some forums, and they work great on my system (no swap magic or anything). I tried the same thing with burnt ps1 games, but it does not seem to work on my ps2. I burnt the .cue file, which is supposed to contain info on how to burn the .bin or image or iso file onto the disc. It burnt successfully, as long as I dont verify after burning(as it always gives me an error saying, verify failed layouts do not match). The burnt PS1 discs show the game files on my laptop(PC), so I think it has written the game fine. I have infinity v1.93, and on turning on the PS2, it passes the moving blue boxes screen pretty quickly, and then goes black for a few seconds, and then goes to the memory card screen, where it says loading disc... It then shows the dreaded red please insert a playstation or playstation 2 format disc. It never reaches the 3d PS logo at all. What am I doing wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

May be the matrix chip is not wired correctly. because 1 wire is only to get ps1 to walk! Look at Y and S Point
