I've tried to put 3 times the modchip and all the times the PS2 acts as never been touched (plays originals, macrovision on,....) and it doesn't recognice the firmaware cd I used other times. Even the 3ยบ time I installed it full alternative points.

I'm thinking the chip is broken. Do you have any idea of what can I try for fixing it????
