Problem changing the boot logo of the infinity
Problem changing the boot logo of the infinity –
11-08-2006,05:49 PM
I've flashed my Matrix Infinity in the past by just burning the bin/cue file to a CD (last time I went up to V1.88).
Now I was thinking about changing the logo, and update to V1.91.
So I tried WinISO, and loaded the bin/cue file, and replaced the BMP.
Saved it and burned it, but then the CD doesn't boot in the PS2.
Can someone explain what progams to use to modify the bin/cue file, and how to make it bootable after burning?
Thanks a lot in advance!

I used Winrar to open the iso, replace the old bmp and then use Nero to burn the iso with the .que file, worked like a charm.

Use deamon tools, and extract the bin file.
Replace the image and just burn it as normal data cd (dont need to make it .bin or .cue or .iso)
Just drag & drop like making any pc cd and burn
Hello. This is my signature. Nice? yeah? Thanks!

Hmm... when I unpack it's a bin and cue file, not iso.
Winrar can't open BIN/CUE files.
I converted it to ISO, tried to replace the file in Winrar, but get:
"WinRAR can add files only to RAR or ZIP archives".
I use V3.60 of Winrar.
So this didn't work for me, but thanks for your efforts.

This worked, however it said "NOLOGO"... but that's another problem.
Photoshop says it says BMP as 8-bits, but the final file gets 32-bits anyway.
This however is probably easy to fix by just using another program.
Thanks a lot!

I found a program called Ahaview to convert from 32-bits to 8-bits.
Now it finds the logo, BUT the logo just went totally black...
Sigh...
