Please insert ps2 disc

Hi All,
I upgraded from the magic 3 to the matrix infinity chip cause of all the cool features. But when i load my backup it goes to the red screen saying please insert ps2 disc. The games i backup are 100% good .. how i know that? Because they play on the Matrix chip. Then when i reboot or load another game it give same red screen. Even if i try putting the same game that worked a minute ago it shows the red screen.
Basically its by luck and chance the game would run. I tried playing with every feature in the config menu but nothing came of it. Is there a special option in the config menu to enable the games to load at bootup or enabling or disabling some features to get the game to load?
BTW i upgraded to the latest 1.88 firmware.
Any help or insite is appreciated.

I thought your installation isn´t correct and you maybe have an drive patch brigde.

yeah sounds like a lose wire......... or i know some times when i play PAL games on my NTSC system it wont load
