Picture problems with RGB! Please help!

Alright, I've just received my PStwo that's been away for repairs for about a month, and now I have another problem.

When I use my RGB cable the picture has "jaggies" (in other words, it's not smooth like it should be) and I don't know what to do about it.

I have RGB turned on in the PS2 boot menu, and there's nothing wrong with neither the RGB cable (I've tried another one as well) nor the TV (it works fine with RGB on my GameCube).
I've also tried changing some stuff in the chip menu (triangle + circle while booting) but I can't seem to get it right.
I've updated the firmware both to 1.75 and 1.82 but the problem hasn't been solved by that.

As you can see, something's wrong.
So what do I need to do to fix this problem?

You didn't mention the video settings used on the M.I. configuration menu. Maybe ur seeing those distortions because the modchip is setup to force a video mode. Try changing PS2 SCREEN FIX to COLOR.
