I'm running a PAL game (Amplitude, to be specific) on my NTSC PS2 on an NTSC TV. If I set the screen fix to anything other than NTSC or PAL60, I get a rolling screen (as I'd expect), but the game runs. If I set it to either NTSC or PAL60, the screen shows correctly, but the game locks up a couple seconds into the intro movie. Is this typical for a lot of PAL games? Any way around it? I suspect the game just doesn't like running at 60Hz.

And what exactly is the difference between NTSC mode and PAL60 mode on the Matrix Infinity?
