Nothing happening!!

I have Matrix Infinity Green Dot + v7 ps2. Installed the chip, boots up with matrix logo and it say: "Dvd player not set up". When i insert non-DVD cd, it show a Playstation2 disc, but cant start it when i press X.

I used this diagram, but i found out that the GND and Y is placed somewhere else.

I've changed to right places now. I dont know that the first setup has damaged the chip, has it? Cuz the chip booted up like i told in top.

Hope someone who can help me....:(

Sounds like your bios wires are the problem rather than the chip. Soldering extra wires does not damage the chip. Post a picture of your install.

Look at the official v7 diagram, i solder it like that. Can it be bad soldering?

Most likely. Remove the chip and clean up all the points and see if it still works without the modchip installed. If it does try again and be very careful and neat about every point and you should be able to get it working.

I resold them all, but now it wont read any disc. In browser it show "Reading..." for 1 sec.

*UPDATE*

Forgot the drive cable :P...

I can disable the chip. When i do that, it cant boot games(original), the console detect the game as Playstation 2 game, but no boot. When i press select, the matrix screen freezes.

you guys ever herd of a matrix chip with a light blue dot, i just recently put in and it read a back up game fine for like 5 mins then the screen went blank now it wont read back up or original, i have v5-6

Anyone see any problem on this solding? Its a v7!
