    I have a problem... many of my burned games doesnt work. ive gotten like 2 or 3 out of 15 to work. the PS2 logo comes up but then the tv goes black (on the games that dont work). I have the Matrix MX4 chip. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    back to basics...
    did you use a good media? did you burn those games at the slowest speed possible?

    I burned on sonys DVD discs and yes i burned att lowest possible speed.

    Use DVD Decrypter to back up the games and burn them...

    Use high quality DVD media (Taiyo Yuden, Ritek, etc.)...

    Burn slowly (2X or 4X)...

    yeah i agree with that except for ritek is not high quality they are now crap

    RITEK media is prefect media for the ps2 i have never had any problems with it and always recommended to my customers

    well everyone has different results i use to love ritek G04 but they no longer have the same quality they use to be, in the past they were real good, G05 is bad i got some on sale from newegg and had few coasters so i switched back to TY media. TY is better than ritek that IMO

    Its not my own original games im trying to copy and play... its games that ive downloaded from the internet...
    And now when i remember.. what program is best to burn the game with???

    I agree that TY is better than Ritek, but Ritek is still very good. I've used them since G03 and I currently have some G05s...no coasters yet.
