Non-Green Dot firmware update.
Non-Green Dot firmware update. –
If I get a non-green dot MI, can I do the update via memory card and still use one of these in a v14/v15 or v14b or whatever they are called? It's that or a DMS S.E. since I usually order from divineo because they offer COD payment in Canada and my choices are limited for a v14 compatible chip in the next few weeks for the after xmas rush.
the way it reads on infinitys site NO
I just put dms4 pro in v14 and updated to toxic bios 1.4 and works perfect
That's the one I was thinking of that would let me upgrade it by memory card. O well, guess I'll order some DMS's. I'm not a big fan of those but until Divineo has greendots in or something, I need a v14 compatible chip since those are probally going to be most of the xmas ps2's that people will get.
Well, to confirm the statement of the Matrix Team, a non-green dot M.I. really does not work in a V14/V15. I have tried this a few times, but without use.
The yellow dot doesn't support V12 (MI statement), but it's possible to upgrade the firmware and install the yellow dot in a V12. It suprices me that the blue dot doesn't seem to be able to use firmware 1.75 to operate in a V14. Why is that?
Well, they must have changed something in the Actel chip, which cannot be changed by upgrading the firmware.
