Need Help On Matrix Infinity Install Ps2 v10

Installed a matrix infinity green dot in version 10 ps2.Chip purchased from modchipstore.com.when the ps2 starts up the matrix logo is displayed but there is no firmware information displayed along side the logo which I thought would be displayed as well.After this display it runs like an unmodded ps2.There is no infinity configuration,I cant disable nor enable the mod chip the ps2 acts as if there is no mod chip installed.I have emailed several times to modchipstore.com and to the matrix team but neither site is replying to my emails.an anyone help.

U prolly have the 'homebrew' firmware on it.

just download the 1.75 firmware from HERE

Burn the bin&cue to cd with NERO

put in the cd in ps2, turn ps2 off and press and HOLD reset till cd boots.

Its kinda misleading if they don't advertise it on modchipstore.com as homebrew.

not true, some countries do not agree with the software that make it able to play backups, but sum countries dont care.

in holland they dont care, and u will get your chip with latest firmware.

in other countries u just get homebrew.

doesnt really matter, the chip is made to be flashed, so just download the firmware. make cd, flash chip, have fun with matrix chip.

I have made an image file of the bin and cue files burnt this onto a cd and when the cd is put in and ps2 resewt it asks for the ps2 disk.It will not boot up off of this disk.

Did you just burn the 2 files to a disk??? what you need to do is select in nero startsmart and slect burn image file then slect the .cue file or in standard nero go to File ->Open then find the folder that you extracted your bin/cue file to and select the cue file make sure you finalise disk burn at 4x and make sure is Disk at once... Enjoy

Also forgot to ask did you do the reomeo mod ?? with out that laser fix your laser will die faster then other fat systems .

Well I kept on hitting reset and then I held the reset and eject button together and this made the disk spin and spin but not go anywere then i kept doing this plus a reset and finally after about 40 tries the firmware upgrade screen came up.I burned this firmware about 5 times just to make sure but when I started the ps2 up again it wouldnt work so I repeated the same procedure but this time burnt the firmware about 15 times.shut the ps2 down restarted it and bingo I can now get into the configuration screen and disable and enable the chip.Havent tried a burnt game yet.Thanks everyone for some answers.Does anyone know why modchipstore.com and team matrix dont reply to emails?I even tried other companies hopeing for some support and only recieved one vague email back.Is this the norm with all of these resellers,once they have your money your s.o.l.?

They are very busy, BUT if u would have taken the little effort to read the README.tXT (ever wondered why they call it README?)
then u would have probably solved it yourself in 5 minutes.

its normal to sent modchips with no firmware or a firmware thats legal in every country due to law restrictions.

I juess you didnt understand what I had to do to get this thing too work.One reset and one firmware burn should be good enouph.You tell me that there support,sales and marketing are too busy too answer me.What are they all doing playing ps2 games?Ive had faster replies to an $11.00 purchase from an ebay sale.With your reply you sound well suited to go work for one of these fly by night places.
