modchip problems

i have taken my ps2 bak 2 the guys that put the infinity chip in and they were able to work it just fine so then i tried it wen i got home and the same thing happens. it takes bout 30 restarts to finaly load a burnt game. They guy said that the chip only loads wen a controller is plugged in and i am doing that so wat is going wrong then?

Maybe its a media issue?
I had customers that came back to me claim it dont work, and work all OK here, i send it back, they complain, i get the disc they try to boot and run quality scan on it, and get 38 points in nero.

A good quality burn should be over 90 points.
All below 80 points = coaster.

Sounds like your laser is weak. A weak laser sometimes reads no DVD writables, but often it will read Verbatim, but not eg. Princo. Maybe you need a new laser.

definately a media issue, if the installers discs work and yours dont, what else could it be, what discs are you using.

i even took one of my discs that i burnt and it worked there aswell
