I have a MI green dot installed in my ps2 scph 77001a Gh051-12.It worked for a week and then it started having problems. If i turn on the ps2 it doesn't show me no video. So i resoldered the bios wires and that seemed to fix it for a couple of hours. Then it started not to show me video again. So i resoldered the whole chip and it worked for a couple of hours. Then it started again. So i resoldered the bios wires again and that seemed to fix it for a couple of minutes. Then it froze in a game and when i restarted it it didn't show me any video. So i did the same procedure. Now sometimes it boots but if it boots the sound is f*cked up and if i insert a back-up it says that it is a dvd video and that the dvd player is not set up. I have checked every wire atleast 5 times. I know that the fan is spinning. I have tried with different cables and different TVs. My FW is 1.93.
I don't have a different chip. I bought 2 duo3 but they were junk. Also this is my third ps2 since the other 2 got ****ed up. So i don't have a different chip and i can't afford to buy a new one.
give us a picture of your install because it sounds that it is pretty screwed up
a high pitch sound occurs when there is a short between the ponm points
and it looks like your solder is comming lose constantly
so i think a good cleanup of your solderpoints and a reinstall should solve it
I fixed the sound and it turned on the first coupled of times i put a backup and it just kept saying reading disk and the joystick and the stand-by button didn't work so i disconnected it from the power. i turned it on and it seemed like it was going to boot the game it showed me the ps2 logo and just before it says press start button it froze. then i restarted it BLACK SCREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like there is excess solder on the PONM nd QTUVR points. If you bridge any of those(which is the BIOS) the PS2 will be a black screen.
I would use a wick and desolder those points and try it again.
BTW, you might want to make sure you have enough clearance from the screw points. I can see that there is some wires that look like they are being crushed under the cage may as well cause the BSOD; white ones near the chip, near the middle, as well as your ground wire going to the USB ground point. Pinching the wires with the cage may short those wires and cause adverse effects (like your sound problem). P.S. you only need one good ground point.

I already cleaned it I just couldn't remove the rest of the solder I cleaned them again turned on the ps2 this time it didn't turn on even once HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd be tempted to unsolder all the MI connections to the motherboard (leave your ground wires), insulate each wire with tape and try starting up the PS2.
If you still have a problem, check all the connections where you've soldered to the ps2 motherboard and remove any excess solder if required - be careful you don't overheat anything.
This seems to me the only option you have left.
Once you've got it going stable for a few days, only then consider refitting the MI..
Good luck - it's difficult soldering these little connections.

To me it sounds like you have a short somewhere.
Even a little bit of flux leftover can cause those problems.
I recomend that you desolder al the wires and clean everything up with desolderbraid and flux cleaner.
I use aceton to clean the flux, works for me
Then see what it does, if working try rebooting several times.
Good luck
