i just bought a second hand ps2 (modded with matrix).

my question is, how can i know what firmware my matrix is?

Press Circle+Triangle on Joypad you will Enter the Matrix Setting and in the upper of the Screen you can see the Firmware

Just make sure you don't change any of the settings in your Matrix Boot Menu if you're not sure if it's an official matrix infinity or what kind of cloned chip it is, as doing so can damage certain cloned chips. I posted more related info in a previous post here.

well you have to make sure its Genuine and then you can get the latest Firmware from the above post ps2dragon and the latest one is Firmware 1.93

one more question.

the matrix i have takes to long to load, why?
and
when i try to use all my dvd game it won't play?
is it because of my modchip?
