Matrix v. 1.99

I recently purchased a modded fat ps2 with a matrix v 1.99 modchip. My question is, do you think that this is a clone/fake?

I see.. So you mean the features of this chip is bad? And I can't put games into them? Do you have a guide on modchips? Sorry i'm really new into this kind of stuff and this forum too. But really i want to learn.

nope its not bad but you can NOT upgrade or downgrade the chip ..

And I can't put games into them?

Oh sorry. I meant transferring games to the hard drive.

and i've read that changing the settings of the modchip would destroy it. Is it still applicable to v. 1.99 matrix clone? Thanks!

use either WinHIIP 1.7.6 or HDL-DUMP -GUI to install the games to PS2 HDD

it will not destroy it but it will make it useless on some modchips ..

Modbo 3.0 and Modbo 4.0 and some others the setting can be changed without no problem ..
