Matrix Installed...and ignored??

So I've done a few Green Dot installs not and this is the first time I've had any troubles. I'm working with a SCPH-39001/N (V7), a model which I have done an install on before. However, I when I put in a Matrix Infinity Green Dot in this one the system seems to completely ignore the chip and runs normal. I have checked EVERYTHING over and over again and even desoldered and resoldered the whole thing. Anyone know what this is? I think the chip may be a dud.....

power/ground wires? you using like 20 awg wires?

update the firmware

are u sure the MI is flashed with firmware?
If you got yourself a HomeBrew MI greendot, you need to flash firmware before it work, otherwise it just behave like its no chip in there.

Found the problem...W wire wasn't connected X_X I also had to update and reflash the firmware but now it works great! Thansk guys,
