matrix infinity v.7 can reset but not eject

so I installed the matrix infinity in my v7 ps2 turn it on and it booted correctly showed the matrix logo let me configure it and all that but the disc wouldnt spin and eject didnt work. I disassembled it and checked the connections on the laser then put it back together now all i get is a black screen and the laser still isnt working.
I can reset the system but eject doesnt work Are there any specfic points i should check. I looked at the bios points theylook fine

update:
Ive now removed all wires from the chip and the board re assembled without the chip and I still have the same problem solid green light no eject light and I also noticed that the analog light for the controller wont come on

Check all the fuses using a multimeter. Also check over the board to see if you are actually bridging any pins. Use a magnifying glass. You can also use the multimeter to check the bios pins to see if they're actually bridged.
