Matrix Infinity Red Error Screen

Sounds like laser problem. People sometimes say O it worked before I modded it. But the truth is It probebley had trouble to begin with. Every system I mod I check before and some load right away and some go to the menu screen then load If that is the case Menu then load on original DVD game this means the lens is on its way out and not a good system to mod. Cleaning the lens helps sometimes also a fine adjustment of the lens helps in some cases. Mosy often it does not do any good to clean or adjust. Also +R disks are a NO NO not good. Use only -R disks.

i asked someone from matrix about this and he said "no, if it is a laser problem it cannot read anything." but the ps2 can play ps1 games and dvds... this is really weird

i opened the lid of the ps2, pressed the button "that makes it see if the lid is open or not" down and removed the little brake and i saw it start spinning and just stop. is it because of the pinched wires in my ps2?

"can read X but not X" is either laser or wiring problem.
replace the crimped wirres, and try again.
