Hey all, i need help troubleshooting a matrix infinity install on a v12
i am getting the matrix logo screen on bootup, but thereafter, a black screen and nothing else.
so troubleshooting this, does that indicate that my points for the BIOS is ok?
one clue is that the dvd drive does not see any activity, i don't see the drive spin or laser move
so i'm guessing that it could be the dvd drive points
but i guess what my main question is: is the matrix logo screen loading, a good indication that my bios points are ok?

Did you do the laser fix ?

Yes, I also did the neofix XIV. I'm pretty sure this was done correctly because I followed the instructions and did the bootup test where it auto shuts itself down after 3 secs. Once I tested that, I then finished connecting the other 4 points.

You should remove the MI and clean everything up then try to see if the console works without the modchip, just the laser fix.

Yeah that would be a good starting point.
