Do you mean:
Free Laserfix PCB "Neofix xiii" for v12-v14 Slim PS2 included!
Only in the V12.
the version of your ps2 would help ..
you require the romeo mod for v9/v10 consoles. You'll need to install laser protection for V12 units....ton of fixes around for those.
no other versions require additional protection
well ive spent most of the weekend reading up on this ive now gatherd the romeo mod does need to be done so the pro who did my modchip was not a pro at all. my ps2 failed due to him not doing the romeo....
all it is 1 wire from pin 17 on the la6508 chip to a 5v point on the board.
due to this not being done the coils on my laser have burnt out on one side.
ive tested my la chip and all apears well i tested for continuity across pins 18-19
and 20-21. so ive done the romeo mod and orderd a new laser im just hoping this will sort it out thanks for your replys heres a very good site for helping those in dispair........all the best http://www.cyber-mag.com
