Matrix Infinity chip question

Hi, I have bought 2 Matrix Infinity chips from NÂ£TMÂ£Ã‡H. It has come in today and the chips are connected together. How do I split them apart? Do I just snap them apart or do I have to use some sort of knife to cut it? I ask so I dont ruin the chip. Thanks
