Im New here and I want to install the Infinity Manager on my Memory Card to use it for further configuration and costumization. Is there a release of Infinity Manager for the FIRMWARE 1.88? If not how can I use the Infinity Manager 1.01b if I'm already on 1.88 of Infinity Chip.
I appreciate all answers. Thank you in advance!

u can do it a lot of ways.

just get the MANAGER.ELF and place it in mc0:/MATRIXTEAM

or get the firmware 1.36 firmware and only install the infinity manager and dont do the firmware update.

read my tutorial m8, it has a lot of info in it.

the link is in my signature

but u are better of with uLaunchELF, because u can do a LOT more things with it. it has USB, HOST and HDD support.

with the inf manager, u can only boot 5 different apps from MC.

    THank you very much!
But now Im a bit in confusion of what the CDPS2GEN is and more over how do I get this "Infinity Memory Card Manager" installed on my memory card? If I avail the second option, do I need to read your tutorial? What are the advantages of "Infinity Manager"? Are there even options to optimize the start up and even manipulate the PS2 in a way that "speed-up" while booting, costumize the start up menu, better graphics, type of tuning up the ps2? (thats actually what im looking for)

press and hold triangle and circle, start your PS2

    go customize...

the infinity manager and the firmware update 1.36 are two seperate updates on 1 CD.

Is there a need for the infinity manager to be installed to customize my ps2? Are these customize settings (mentioned above) also accessable while having just the matrix infinity chip planted?

    Ok thx,

Im sorry IF I ask such "basic questions" but I have no Idea of all the stuffs regarding the matrix infinity.

infinity manager is just a memory card manager as the name states.

u do not need it to 'customize' altough having apps on your MC and using matrix manager to load them is kinda customizing 2 me.

    Thank YOU!
THe thing i was searching is the one u mentioned in your other post: The Infinity Configuration Menu.

I have Ver. 1.88 is there some reliable source where I can get the info for setting up the configurations to my standards n wishes? There is a quite long list of points to be adjust, I would like to know more about them. Do you have some link or source for me to look at?
    Thanks again!
