I just installed a matrix infinity in a v15 (7701) silver, slim ps2 (usa). I can force ntsc, and it boots a few pal games fine, but one game in particular has problems. The video and audio are out of sync by what seems like 5 seconds. it's a karaoke game, so this timing difference makes a big deal. Is this simply a problem with the pal/ntsc conversion? why don't other games have the same problem?

Also, is there no way to truly play DVD's from another region? The chip says it makes the ps2 region free, but I am still unable to play dvd's that are not from the US.

On that same subject, my US DVD's are not autobooting like the chip is supposed to be able to do. They load fine when the chip is disabled, but will not load when it is enabled.
