Well, tried installing the chip on the GH-051-12 board using the GH-051-02 diagram. All the points seem to match up. Anyways, got all points soldered, tried it, and the ps2 would not come out of standby. Took the chip completely out, tried it again, same thing. Light just stays red. Is the board shot? Or would a bridge (which i can't see so far) on the bios cause this?

I believe that the bios connections are giving you trouble, your best bet would be to use a multi-meter and check the continuity between the points and make sure theres none.

Ok, so I have the chip right off of the board, as well as all wires. What do I touch the leads to on the board to check and see if I have a bridged bios connection?

sorry i should have mentioned with the chip installed on the board.
But yes, you would set the multimeter to the continuity setting ( it looks like an arrow pointing into a vertical line)
Then you would check the points neighboring each other. One lead on a point and the other lead on the point next to it. It shouldn't have a reading close to zero. you want it closer to one.
