I can't upgrade my Infinity modchip.

Hi

I have PS2 slim Model 77004 V16.
I downloaded INFINITY FIRMWARE V1.93 file and I Burn the files in 4X.
when i put the CD in my PS2 and when the screen saying ( press Start to ......) and when I do that ... nothing happen.
so what can I do to make it work and upgrade my infinity modchip?

also are there any way to use Gameshark, Action Replay MAX in my PS2 slim?

Then it could be a clone if you haven't seen the chip. Clones will show the matrix logo and that good stuff so you might wanna pop that PS2 open and take a look and make sure ya got the real thing. Clone will not upgrade and some will kill the chip if you even try to upgrade it and if you go into and/or change options in there. I bet they said it was a matrix and sold ya a clone in that premod. I would bring it back and demand the real thing if that's what ya paid for and it is a clone.

Open up your PS2 and take a look. Thats the only way to make sure.
