I cannot play back-up games with infinity odchip

Firstly i am newbie.Recently i gave my ps2 to a specialist so as to put in my ps2 a modchip.When i get my ps2 he gave 2 games as a present.The modchip that he put in my ps2 is matrix infinity version 1.82.I play the games and everything i was ok.
These days i downloaded 2 games from the web and i try to play these with my ps2 but nothing happens.The first game was a nstc one and i thought that it didn't play because it was nstc.So i downloaded a pal one.Nothing happens again.When i insert the disk it doesn't appears the logo "Playstation 2".In fact it does nothing.
Please can someone tell me what to do so as to play ps2 games that i download from the web?The matrix modchip is supposed to play all the back-up games.The procedure that i followed with the games that i downloaded is to burn these with the Nero program.

Probably the modchip that's the problem. Either that or it's your installation.

But the copied games that i bought from him works fine.What do u mean with the installation?

If you downloaded the games then it could be the games that is the problem itself. Maybe a bad release. What brand of dvd are you using? Are you burning them at a slow speed?

I have downloade three games from the web but nothing.Also the brand of dvd is creative and i burn the games at 4x speed

Today i rent an original ps2 game.I made a image and i am burning it now.I will tell you the results as soon as i test it.

It will make me crazy because i try to play copied games from the web over a month and i cannot.Everybody plays ps2 game for free except me

Try buying some verbatim dvd and burn them at half the rated speed.

Also try to no multitask while burning. Might help.
