I don't know if anyone remembers, but for some games (e.g. Final Fantasy IX) it is essencial to skip fmv sequences by openening the CD-case and closing it immediately.

That worked fine with a PSOne or the classic PS2 Console, but not with the Slimline-Version (77004 + Matrix Infinity V. 1.93).

When I open the CD-Case, the CD stops, the sequence too, but, as I close it, it simply progresses. But it has to "cut" the scene and spring to next ingame point.

Is there a way to skip fmv sequences for sure?

And please, don't tell me to press any Button an the controller, it doesn't work, I know that for sure.
