how do i update my firmware
how do i update my firmware –
i have 1.38 on my infinity chip how do i update it to the newer 1.88 version i downloaded 2 zipfiles from the infinity site one is dev2install11 and the other is infinityfw188 how do i install them onto the chip
You do not need dev2install11 to upgrade your firmware. Unzip infnityfw188 and use Nero or some burning program to burn the .bin.
i used alcohol 120% and told it that it was a ps2 game and when i put it in the ps2 it doesnt come on
ok i burned it again with nero and it worked but when it started it said pres start to upgrade and i did and it is still at 0% after about 20 minutes
U might want to try a slower burning speed for the upgrade CD, but i think u have a clone m8.
If you had uLaunchELF running from your PS2, you could just execute the I.ELF file without having to burn any CDs everytime you want to upgrade or downgrade your firmware.
