Yesterday i bought a modded slim ps2. Everything worked fine until i entered the chip configuration screen. I didn't change any of the settings but now my ps2 won't boot any backup games.

what chip is it you have installed?
That was probably a clone - so by entering to configuration screen, you have fried him.
does ruining the clone modchip completely destroys the ps2? or is there still hope in fixing it?
@icarus i don't think it will riun the ps2 but i haven't fired a clone yet so i can't be sure. Modbo 745 can save config settings (i have one and i have tried this). You might have an older version of modbo.
also modbo 3 ..i have and i can change the setting wtihout any problems..
try to unplug the HDD and Network Adapter and see if its working .
I finally opened up my ps2. I had a modbo v1.2 and decided to get it replaced with a matrix infinity chip. Can i use all the same wires for the MI? How can i remove the old chip? It seems to be glued to the board.
