having a problem with v12

i have a v12 MI with summones fix, and it was going fine for about a year now i think, and um now its starting to go to brower menu and saying unable to read disc. so than it was doing that for a while than it fixed back.. now again its doing it. im trying every type of dvd, original too.

what should i check with the laser lens.... btw earlier my dad squeezed the
ps2 on the browser menu and than it started working but than i turned off my ps2 and put it away than i turned it on again than it screwed again..
but everything was loading very slowly.. if i need new lasers whats the cheapest ones i can buy for how much? and what about the summ0nes fix? what does that have to do with this and if i remove the summ0nes fix, wouldnt that burn the laser

oh yeah and when it wasnt working i cleaned the lens with rubbing alcohol and a q tip and i think i put a little too much alcohol because the laser changed color for a couple of seconds maybe 15, and than it turned back blue. is that any problem? i hope not. because when it fixed for a temporary time and i was playing gta than the streets were all white and it kept lagging and says unable to read gta disc for like 1 second every 5 mins anybody know whats up thanks.

Youre laser is getting weaker, you should replace it
What media are you using? Try different media.

okay im gonna revive this thread if any new help has come because i still havnt resolved this problem. and admins sorry for dping

"my pstwo is having a problem with reading DVDs it reads cds fine.
but heres the thing... it works 50 % of the time. like umm lets see

i try a dvd game and it doesnt work. so i leave and i come back after maybe 5 hours than it works. also when i move the pstwo diagonal it works sometimes for some reason . once my dad pressed the pstwo and it started working but than it stops working. i tried cleaning the laser with q tip and alcohol still no help..
( BTW i accidently put a little bit too much alcohol on the laser with the q tip i hope thats not a problem is it? like does it affect my laser in any way or something, it kinda went deep into the laser ) but it still plays games like it use to, works sometimes doesnt work sometimes, my dad said hes gonna open the pstwo up and see whats the problem but i doubt he can do anything cuz he doesnt know anything baout pstwos. so if anyone would plz tell me if i should check anything inside the ps2, maybe loosen the screws of the laser or anything like that... i dont think anyone ever had this problem that the laser sometimes read the games and sometimes it doesnt when u move the pstwo around or something. i dont think buying a new laser will really help because my laser actually plays games but only when some kind of force gos on the ps2 or something its really weird i dont know how to explain i hope u guys understand what im saying... but id really like some help from you guys thanks."

hey i need a guide on how to adjust the pstwo v12 laser pots or w.e

ive searched everywhere and cant seem to find it. i dont know where to or how to adjust the pstwo laser so any help on that thanks
