H wire on a USv4 ?

I have a US v4 and v12 ps2 that I am modding soon (waiting for chips to arrive). And I am looking at the documentation mod-chip.com has and in the pdf it says that the H is for non US ps2's, but on their wiring diagram it says that it is for US/JP. I looked on infinities site and it doesnt look like they use H at all, but it also doesnt specifically look like the greed dot version either.
If I cant get a definite answer I will try without H and see how it goes

You do not need H for v4 US. You need H for v12 US.

Thank you for the quick response. I just checked with my buddy and he has a v14 not 12, but Id assume Id need H for that as well.

Is it also true that I don't need G for the v4 ?

If your friend has a v14 then H is still required. Just follow the diagrams. You do not need G wire for v4. Again, follow the diagram on Matrix Team's website.
