I've had my green dot installed in my v14 for over 5 months with perfect gaming... no it just doesn't work. I tried resetting the ps2 by holding the reset button and that usually does it, but not anymore. It just doesn't seem like the chips installed anymore.... any ideas? All the soldering looks just as good as it did the first day also.

I had this same exact thing happen yesterday morning. I took everything apart and resoldered everything and now it works perfect. I would say you should do the same

If your asking me, It was acting as though no modchip at all was installed. I could play Originals fine, just not burned games.
I am guessing it must be because I just barley put a hard drive in that night (just got a network adapter) and With the extra heat from the Hard Drive, and the Vibration from the Hard drive, It made one of my solder points weak and the wire became loose. It was my first PS2 (and console) for that matter, so needless to say the soldering was weak compared to the kind of work I do these days. I resoldered all my points and made it look neat and it works good as new.
