I'm lost here. I just got a new Slim PS2, throwing a Matrix Infinity in it. It's a V14 (or so I thought), SCPH-75001b. The board number is:

    GH-041-14

Based on the matrix website, this is the diagram I would be using:

    http://www.infinitymod.com/matrix/fi...4-GH041-xx.JPG

However, the board looks nothing like this diagram in two specific areas. Areas 3 and 6. They are not even close. I dug and dug, and found this:

    or

Oddly, this board is an exact fit despite the model number and despite the fact that I bought it brand new in Denver, Colorado, USA at a freaking Target store.

Has anyone seen this happen before, where a board model number is not what the physical board layout shows? I haven't modded it yet, but after I do I can post back the results I've found.

Great, thanks. Apparently Sony is getting tricky and use the same board number on multiple boards or something like that.
